Terms & Policies
• Creative/Reservation Fee
This fee is non-refundable, but may be applied to another session if needed. It includes the photographer's time/talent during the consultation, the session and the projection appointment. The payment is due on the day of the session. It can also be paid at the consultation. When the amount of portraits purchased exceeds $600, 50% of this fee will be applied to your portrait order.
• Retouching
(Basic) - is included in the price of the image. Major retouching, such as removal of braces or glasses glare, is available for an additional fee of $25 per item.
• Projection Appointment
Scheduled 1-2 weeks after the portrait session. The appointment will be scheduled at the consultation or the session. A deposit of $175 will be due at your projection appointment if no order is placed.
• Placing Orders
Plan on placing your order at your projection appointment. Please make sure that all decision makers are present. It is not recommended that young children attend this appointment.
• Payment Options
We accept Checks, Visa, MasterCard and Cash. Checks are made payable to TQ Photography. Returned check fee: $25.
• Deliver/Turn-Around Times
Loose prints: 4 - 6 Weeks; Framed Prints: 6 - 8 Weeks; Collages: 8 - 10 Weeks; Art Books/Legacy Albums: 10 - 12 Weeks
• Digital Files
Facebook files include the TQ Photography logo and come with each image purchased. Digital files that can be printed up to 5x7 are available for purchase at $75 per image.
• Using Your Images
Facebook/Blog/Advertising/Competition - All clients will sign a waiver stating that their images can be used at the photographer's discretion. No last names will be used in advertising and no images will ever be used for anything damaging to the client.
• Rescheduling Sessions
Sessions rescheduled due to weather or an "off day" for a child will not be charged an additional session fee. Illness - Please contact the photographer by 9 AM on the day of the session. Please notify the photographer at least 24 hours in advance if you need to reschedule your session for any other reason.
• Guarantee
TQ Photography offers a 100% guarantee on all portrait products.
• Care of Your Portraits
Portraits should be handled with care. Any defects found at the time of delivery will be replaced at no additional charge. Important Note: Metal pieces sometimes have imperfections in the material, which is normal for this type of material.
• Copyright Information
All images created by TQ Photography are protected by Federal Copyright Laws. TQ Photography has the exclusive right to reproduce your photographs. This includes the right to control the making of copies. It is illegal to copy or reproduce your photographs elsewhere without written permission. Anyone making copies other than TQ Photography is in violation of Federal Copyright Laws and is subject to both civil and criminal penalties.
